COVER ART REVEAL – Hidden Masterpiece #2

Drumroll… The EXCITING day is here!

This book was unveiled at the HarperCollins Christian Publishing Sales Conference today, so we can now share it with the rest of you. Here it is, the title and cover art for the Hidden Masterpiece #2:

A Sparrow in Terezin

SPARROW_Draft

The full synopsis will follow soon, but the story centers around the children’s art of the Theresienstadt transport camp (also known as Terezín), the Nazis’ propaganda camp north of Prague.

A Sparrow in Terezin follows a key character from the historical storyline in The Butterfly and the Violin (which I can’t share because it would be a major Spoiler). It also introduces Kája Makovský, a Czech-born journalist who survives the worst of The London Blitz in 1940, only to be later transported to Terezín when trying to help her family flee Nazi-occupied Prague at the height of the war. Here in the camp, Kája uses her love of art and of storytelling to help the children – all under the age of fifteen – cope through the horrific experiences of the Holocaust.

A Sparrow in Terezin will release from Thomas Nelson (Harper Collins Christian Publishing) in April, 2015.

So… What do you think?

With joy (and more release info to share soon),

      1. Should stop by LOTS more often, Kristy! My apologies that I don’t. Since I’m more often on Blogger, sometimes it’s a while before I get over here. 🙂

All the best with this next novel! (And the first, too, it’s nearly here!)

    1. Oh Beth ~ Thank you so much! Does it feel like this with every book – you love each one so much? The cover brought me to tears but then again, I wonder if any cover would do that? ; ) Hugs!

  1. Kris – I love the title and the cover and cannot wait for this! I am so stinkin’ proud of you and all you’ve done! I’m so grateful to call you friend!
