Updates from Kristy’s Writing Desk & #GIVEAWAY!

KCambron - Home Office

If you’ve followed my social media sites for the last several months, you’ll know that I’ve been finishing up my latest book — The Illusionist’s Apprentice. I had so much fun diving into the 1920s vaudeville world of my characters and I can’t wait to share this Harry Houdini-inspired story in spring, 2017! But now that I’ll soon click SEND and the book is safely in the hands of my brilliant editor… I’m finally coming up for air!

This is what’s up in my writing world — here we go…

And that leads up to the next update…

Love NEW RELEASEThe Ringmaster’s Wife (HarperCollins Christian Publishing, 2016)

We’ve been waiting for this for the last year and a half… It’s almost release time for my next book – The Ringmaster’s Wife – a work of fiction inspired by the real lives of John and Mable Ringling, and the circus in late 1920s America.

I am soooooo exited to share this story with you! Our family spent several days researching for this book at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, FL. We took hours of video footage of our family’s behind the scenes tour at the Ringlings’ Ca’d ‘Zan (“House of John”) mansion, with curator Ron McCarty. Here’s a teaser video of what’s to come — a full tour of this incredible mansion, where we have actual scenes from the book!

eBook pre-order $4.99 price — available now!

Stay tuned, because we’ll have tons of fun before release day (June 7th) — including some GIVEAWAYS!

GIVEAWAY News — 500 Amazon Reviews Celebration!

AuschwitzThis story of Adele — a concert violinist who must share her gift as a member of the Women’s Orchestra of Auschwitz — changed my life forever.

I began researching the prisoner camp art of Auschwitz for an undergraduate project years ago at Indiana University. And more than a decade later, this little book became reality — even making a trip to the tracks where Adele would have played during the infamous Nazi “selections”, and becoming a part of the permanent library collection at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.

Sparrow_KCambron.jpgThis story lives on through the discussions we have with future generations about what happened during the Holocaust — and I’m honored that so many of you have read and reviewed this book. So to celebrate 500 Amazon reviews, I’m giving away:

A signed copy of Book 2 in the Hidden Masterpiece series – A Sparrow in Terezin — one for you, and one for a friend.

CLICK HERE to enter the giveaway, through April 25th.

(Sorry – this GIVEAWAY is for the continental US only. Void where prohibited. For additional legal disclaimer information, review the legal content on this site and at FTC.gov.)

RESEARCH FILES VIDEOS — Come along with us for the research fun!

Have you subscribed to our YouTube Channel? …  Check out our Research Files videos, where we take you along for the ride for author research — like a trip we took Waverly Hills, the (rumored) haunted hospital in Louisville, KY:

I can’t wait to share some new Research Files videos to share soon! (I LOVE taking y’all with us when we research for our books.)

So that’s it! — Thanks for stopping by my office to see what’s been going on. And now… I’m headed out for a walk in the sunshine. (Because believe me — this girl has had tons of time in the writing cave and I want to skip about in the land of the living! Ha ha!)

Until next time — I’m thinking of and praying for you always.

Much <3,

Kristy_sig
