LIFEWAY NOVELIST of the MONTH:
Believe it or not, I wrote this on the road while traveling with my family to promote The Ringmaster’s Wife. Curious about what this author life is really like? You’ll find the (sometimes comical) behind-the-scenes look here: http://blog.lifeway.com/shelflife/2016/06/03/june-novelist-of-the-month/
COVER ART REVEAL:
Drumroll… Here’s what you’ve all been waiting for — the final cover art reveal for The Illusionist’s Apprentice, my next historical fiction release from HarperCollins Christian Publishing (Thomas Nelson) coming March, 2017:
Curious about the story after seeing this gorgeous cover? It’s the Jazz Age story about Jenny “Wren” Lockhart— a female vaudevillian and one-time apprentice to the world famous Harry Houdini— who finds herself drawn into the mystery of vaudeville in Boston’s 1920s world of vaudeville.
We’re editing the story now, and I can’t wait to share it with you! But in the meantime, you can stop by and check out the book updates on GoodReads.
WHAT’S NEXT: Where are my walking shoes taking me to research next?
If you haven’t yet signed up for my Writing Desk Newsletter, you’ll want to now (on the right side of the screen on a PC/MAC -or- at the bottom of the post on mobile technology).
In the weeks ahead, I’ll have some exciting book news to share that you absolutely won’t want to miss— and I’ll be sharing it exclusively in this newsletter. Stay tuned, friends!
Thanks for hanging out with me today to celebrate the cover reveal for The Illusionist’s Apprentice. I’m going to go refill my mug and dive into edits. (The writer’s life, huh?)
With THANKS that you’re all here,
