  7. I am actually in mid read on two novels, and the novella One Enchanted Christmas. It might sound silly but I keep getting stuck reading, no fault of the books I am really like them. I started with one book and got stuck, tried a different book same result, so tried something shorter and it seems that, that might have got me past the hurdle! Thanks for the giveaway! pooh_1334(at)yahoo(dot)com

  8. I love all the exciting updates you shared in this post and look forward to more! I’m currently reading and loving A MOONBOW NIGHT by Laura Frantz. Thanks so much for the chance to win a signed copy of THE RINGMASTER’S WIFE. It’s one of my favorites!

  9. Hi Kristy! Just signed up for your street team 🙂 I am currently working my way through Games Creatures Play, a short story anthology of sports-themed spooky stories, great fun! I am also finding a lot of inspiration in Mark Chimsky-Lustic’s series of books that compile commencement addresses given by famous people from various walks of life. I finished Creating A Life You’ll Love, now onto Creating a Marriage / Creating A Meal / Creating a Business. Very much looking forward to trying out your new book very soon, I really loved The Ringmaster’s Wife!

  10. I posted my review of In the Shadow of Denali by Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse this morning. Next up will be Dani Pettrey’s Still Life, but while I wait I’m reading Bonhoeffer’s The Cost of Discipleship (it’s kicking my butt!).

What’s the last great non-fiction book you’ve read?

    Hoping to make the team!

I’ve just filled out the application for the launch team! I’ve not YET read any of your books and I hope that doesn’t lessen my chances because I’ve read a lot of great reviews & positive talk about your books. I have requested both my library and my sister-in-laws library to purchase several of your novels, both physical & digital copies. I’m happy to report that my library has purchased The Ringmaster’s Wife and my sister-in-laws all of your ebook version for books (including The Illusionist’s Apprentice!!). Since I have access to her Overdrive system for digital books, I’ll be able to read them in the near future! I’ve also let you know the good news via Facebook recently 🙂

  15. I have this on my TBR list and am looking forward to it one of these days. I am in the middle of Anna Karenina so it is still a while a way!! beingwoven.7 at outlook dot com

  16. This post is full of so much goodness! Can’t wait. I’m currently reading through a book that I can’t talk much about for an super talented author friend. Ah, I love this community! Best of luck with all of your endeavors, sweet Kristy.

  17. I just finished listening to Irma Joubert’s Child of the River on MP3 CD. It was excellent! Her writing has a noble element–doing what is right regardless of the sacrifice. The main character Persomi becomes involved in the race relations element of South Africa’s early 20th century history and makes difficult decisions about her own love life at great personal sacrifice. I love the underlying Christian principles in her books.

Thanks for the opportunity to win your book!

  18. Hi Kristy… I’m finishing up Julie Klassen’s The Innkeeper of Ivy Hill. Thanks so much for the chance to win!! It was fun to visit your site today after seeing a post on FB. monica-hodges at hotmail dot com.

  19. I just finished The Viscount’s Proposal by Melanie Dickerson. I’ve heard so much good about The Ringmaster’s Wife…someone mentioned how interesting after Ringling Brothers is now going to close up shop:( On my TBR pile!!

  21. Sorry we missed a cup of coffee/tea last year in Nashville, Kristy. Right now I just finished reading The Wedding Shop by Rachel Hauck so have now started The Wedding Dress also by her. I love connected books like them and your The Butterfly and the Violin and A Sparrow in Terezin, two of my faves I read last year! Happy new Year! rosemccauleywritesATgmailDOTcom

  22. I’m almost done with A Lady Unrivaled by Roseanna M. White. I love historical fiction and look forward to reading your books. Please enter me in the drawing for your book. I just discovered that since I am not on any social media that I had to ” reply”to the post the old fashioned way! Is there a way to add an email envelope icon to the ways you can answer a blog?
